A wonderful little peaceful park that is quiet but lively with summer soccer. Two soccer fields divided by pine trees providing shady cool from the summer sun. A jungle gym for children and swing sets for babies and kids both. Ample sand on the ground for children to play in and dig. An on-site water fountain provides refreshment. Lush well-maintained grass. This is a wonderful park for jogging around the soccer fields. Picnic tables available beside the jungle gym and the city has planted new maple trees which will doubtless thrive and provide many years' enjoyment and future shade. In winter, park features a hockey rink complete with lighting and a portable trailer provided by the city to act as "chalet" to change into skates. We have enjoyed this small but beautiful park for many years and it is a destination for nearby Birchwood Elementary school athletic activities or after-school daycare. Simply love having this small but beautiful and very functional park here in our beautiful neighbourhood! It adds so much to the sweet beauty of our community!
